Terms of Service
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Paidrex Wallet, including paidrexwallet.com and our WhatsApp chatbot, operated by Paidrex Technology Ltd ("Paidrex," "we," "us"). By creating an account, linking your WhatsApp number, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility & account registration
- You must be able to form a legally binding contract under applicable law to open a Paidrex Wallet account.
- You agree to provide accurate information during registration and identity verification (KYC), and to keep it up to date.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials and transaction PIN confidential, and for all activity carried out using them. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may decline to open, or may suspend, an account that fails verification or appears to violate these Terms.
Wallet, transactions & fees
- Paidrex Wallet lets you fund a wallet balance and use it to buy airtime and data, pay bills (electricity, TV), and send transfers, processed through licensed third-party payment and billing partners.
- Transfers may carry a service fee and, where required by law, a stamp duty charge — both are shown to you before you confirm a transaction.
- Some transactions depend on a third-party provider's own processing (e.g. a mobile network, a disco, a bank). We work to confirm success or failure promptly, but delivery timing for some bill payments is outside our direct control.
- If a transaction fails after your wallet was debited, we investigate and reverse the debit once confirmed with the relevant provider. Contact support with your transaction reference if this happens.
- You're responsible for double-checking recipient details (phone numbers, account numbers, meter/smartcard numbers) before confirming — once a provider accepts a transaction, it generally cannot be recalled.
Using the WhatsApp chatbot
- Our WhatsApp chatbot lets a linked account buy airtime and data by chatting with our business number. We link a WhatsApp number to your account only after you confirm it's you with your transaction PIN.
- You're responsible for keeping control of the WhatsApp number linked to your account — anyone with access to that number and your PIN can initiate purchases from your wallet.
- Your mobile carrier's standard messaging/data rates may apply to your use of WhatsApp. Availability of the chatbot depends on the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta, which is outside our control.
- Never share your transaction PIN with anyone, including someone claiming to be Paidrex support — we will never ask for it outside of completing a purchase you initiated yourself.
Prohibited use
You agree not to use Paidrex Wallet for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, money laundering, or evading sanctions; to attempt to interfere with or disrupt our systems; or to use another person's account or payment details without authorization.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or close your account if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms, provided false information, or where required by law or our regulators. You may close your account at any time by contacting support, subject to settling any outstanding transactions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paidrex is not liable for losses caused by incorrect recipient details you provided, delays or failures caused by third-party networks or providers outside our control, or unauthorized use of your account resulting from your own failure to keep your credentials or PIN secure.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use Paidrex Wallet after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
